Art Club

St Paul’s Art Group meet in the Centenary Rooms, usually on alternate Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 12 mid-day.

If you enjoy drawing and painting and would like to join our small friendly group, you will be made most welcome. We all work in different mediums and enjoy learning more and sharing ideas together. Sometimes we also invite Artists to come and do workshops with us.

We pay about £10 for a half term towards the room and also to pay towards having Artists. Tea/Coffee and biscuits are included. We are always looking for Artists who would be willing to come and give us a demonstration or workshop.

Parade Service

Last Sunday was our Parade Service when our Rainbows, Brownies and Guides together with our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts worshipped with us. We thought about what was fake and how Jesus is the real deal. It was good also to catch up on Scouting and Guiding news and to encourage our young people and their leaders. Encouragement, or 'paraclesis', is the theme of the new book of the Bible we are studying - the Letter to the Hebrews. This coming Sunday we continue with Hebrews as we are encouraged to stick with Jesus, because he is worth it.
