Choir

We are a group of people at St Paul's who enjoy singing in a four-part choir and who lead the musical items every week at Sunday worship.

New singers of any age are always very welcome - there are almost twenty members at present.  There are no auditions but membership is taken seriously, aiming to provide a wide variety of musical styles in hymns, introits and anthems, praising God and reflecting the themes for each Sunday.

The ability to read music is an advantage but certainly not essential.  All training is given within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere - and singing does make you feel better!

The Choir rehearses in the church each Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 9.00pm with a break from late July until early September.

Following the Government’s Guidance, St Paul’s Church has had to suspend public worship and all Church, Scout and Guide activities until further notice. Each Sunday, however, we shall be worshipping in our homes using material produced by our Minister and sent out weekly by the Elders.
